Candy Club

You know I love anything food related so I was extremely excited when I got a chance to review Candy Club! I felt like a kid in a candy store, or in this case, a candy club store.

What is Candy Club?

Candy Club is a monthly subscription service but instead of getting a book of the month, or wine of the month, you get candy of the month. How exciting is that? The good news is you can actually choose what candy you get. When you go to their website you do a survey so that they can figure out what candies to recommend. I’m not a huge chocolate person (shocking to some of my friends) so I didn’t want to receive chocolate in the mail. After completing the survey, Candy Club picks some candies to send me. And then of course, I went right in and changed their recommends, the site allows us to pick which candy we receive if we want. What can I say? I’m a little bit of a control freak.

The candy arrived in what looked like a shoebox but I will take candy over shoes any day. It’s like opening a Christmas present when you open their box. They also include cute little cards with nutrition information on it for each candy, in case you’re wondering.

They even included candy I didn’t order to make the packaging extra cute and delicious.

What did I order?

I chose new to me candies. I love sour candies and salt water taffy so why not combine the two? The sour salt water taffy was as delicious as I imagined.

Unfortunately, I didn’t love the sour filled watermelon bricks or pineapple twizzlers as much. Both fruit flavors that I normally enjoy. Part of the problem with the watermelon candy was my expectation. I was thinking the inside would be like a liquid gusher and it wasn’t and the pineapple twizzlers were bland. I should have left the job of picking my candy to the professionals and let Candy Club do it for me. Lesson learned.

The great news is there is a 100 % satisfaction guarantee policy. I love a company that stands by their product. This is what they have on their website: Candy Club wants you to be happy with your candy. If for any reason you aren’t, let us know. Call our customer service team and they can refund you for the full cost of your last shipment (candy and shipping).

I sheepishly let them know I didn’t love what I ordered but I took the blame and they still insisted on having me re-order and I loved what I got the second time around, pink lemonade straws, sour green apple candies and sour poppers. Yes, I do love my sour candies!

How much does it cost?

Month to Month: $27.99 a month plus shipping
6 Month plan: $22.99 a month plus shipping
12 Month plan: $19.99 a month plus shipping

This is for their normal shipment, you have the option of adding 3 more tubs of candy, if you wish.

Would I order it again?

I wouldn’t order it for myself. As much as I love candy, having candy come to my door (which I love because I prefer online shopping) is dangerous for my waistline. That being said, I would use Candy Club to send as a gift. It’s so hard figuring out what to buy adults and I know how much some of my friends would light up to get this box of candy in the mail. They also have a Refer a Friend program where you can get free candy if your friend signs up.

I received my candy in return for my unbiased review. There are affiliate links located on this page.

I’m not a big sweet-eater, but I like to look at candy because it’s so pretty. The Candy Club has done an excellent job on their presentation. I also like to go back through your blogs and look at your pictures of food. (My life is so exciting!) LMAO!

Nancy, I brought you and Josh the candy I didn’t like because you know I hate to waste food. It was in my packed stuff and I told you where it was. I’m guessing it’s still there, LOL.
